Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the automatic transmission. Refer to Transmission Replacement .
    2. NOTE:

    Note the position and direction of the automatic transmission flex plate before removal.

  2. Remove and DISCARD the automatic transmission flex plate bolts (1).
  3. Remove the scuff plate (2)
  4. Remove the automatic transmission flex plate (3).
