Installation Procedure

  1. Install the brake hose to the vehicle.
    2. Fig 1: Brake Hose Fitting And Gaskets

    NOTE:

    Install NEW brake hose fitting gaskets.

  2. Install Brake Hose Fitting Gasket (1) @ Brake Hose Fitting (2)

    CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  3. Install Brake Hose Fitting Bolt (1) and tighten 40 N.m (30 lb ft)

  4. Install Brake Hose Bracket Bolt (1) and tighten 9 N.m (80 lb in)

  5. Install Brake Hose Bracket Bolt (1) and tighten 9 N.m (80 lb in)

  6. Install Brake Pipe Fitting (1) and tighten 25 N.m (18 lb ft)
  7. Bleed the brake system. Hydraulic Brake System Bleeding (Manual) Hydraulic Brake System Bleeding (Pressure) 
  8. Install the tire and wheel assembly. Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation (6-Lug Wheel)Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation (8-Lug Wheel)
