Removal Procedure
WARNING:
Refer to Brake Fluid Irritant Warning .
CAUTION:
Refer to Brake Fluid Effects on Paint and Electrical Components Caution .
- Remove and properly discard the brake fluid from the master cylinder reservoir.
- Remove the driver side front fender rear upper brace. Refer to Front Fender Rear Upper Brace Replacement .
- Disconnect the brake fluid level indicator switch electrical connector.
- Carefully spread the locking tabs on the sides of the master cylinder reservoir (1) and lift the reservoir straight upward.
- Remove the master cylinder reservoir seals (1).
