Removal Procedure
- Remove the brake pedal position sensor. Refer to Brake Pedal Position Sensor Replacement
.
- Remove the steering column. Refer to Steering Column Replacement (N33, N37)Steering Column Replacement (N38)

- Disconnect the accelerator pedal position sensor electrical connector.

- Remove the power brake booster pushrod retainer clip bolt (1).

- Remove the power brake booster pushrod retainer clip (1).

- Remove the brake pedal assembly bolt (1).

- Remove the lower power brake booster nuts (1).

- Remove the upper power brake booster nuts (1).
- Disconnect the power brake booster pushrod from the brake pedal.
- Release the electrical harness from the retaining clips on the brake pedal bracket assembly.
- Carefully push against the power brake booster studs to position the power brake booster forward slightly.
- Maneuver the brake pedal assembly from under the instrument panel and remove the brake pedal assembly from the vehicle.
