Preliminary Procedure Prior to removing the rear window wiper arm nut cap, electrically cycle the wiper arm to the mid-wipe position on the rear window.
1	Rear Window Wiper Arm Nut Cap NOTE: Using a small flat-bladed tool, release and tilt up the finish cap from the rear wiper arm.
2	Rear Window Wiper Arm Nut CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution . CAUTION: This vehicle is equipped with torque-to-yield or single use fasteners. Install a NEW torque-to-yield or single use fastener when installing this component. Failure to replace the torque-to-yield or single use fastener could cause damage to the vehicle or component. Tighten 9 N.m (80 lb in)
3	Rear Window Wiper Arm Procedure Using a suitable tool, pull and remove the rear window wiper arm from the rear window wiper motor pivot shaft. Clean the pivot shaft knurls with a soft wire brush before installing the rear window wiper arm. Electrically PARK the rear wiper motor. Place the arm onto the pivot shaft while holding the wiper arm tab firmly into the park ramp pocket. Install the windshield wiper arm nut. Hold the wiper arm in position and torque the wiper arm nut as specified above. Cycle the wiper arm with a spray of solvent, PARK the wiper arm and re-check the alignment of the wiper arm on the park ramp.
