Circuit/System Verification

Ignition ON.
Verify the exterior courtesy lamps listed below, if equipped, turn ON and OFF while commanding the Outside Rear View Mirror Courtesy Lamp ON and OFF with a scan tool.
- A9A Outside Rearview Mirror - Driver (with DL3/DR4)
- A9B Outside Rearview Mirror - Passenger (with DL3/DR4)
- A24D Door Handle Assembly - Driver Exterior (with Z75)
- A24P Door Handle Assembly - Passenger Exterior (with Z75)
- A24LR Door Handle Assembly - Left Rear Exterior (with Z75)
- A24RR Door Handle Assembly - Right Rear Exterior (with Z75)
- E8ZL Running Board Step Courtesy Lamp - Left (with BRS)
- E8ZR Running Board Step Courtesy Lamp - Right (with BRS)
- If the exterior courtesy lamps do not turn ON and OFF
  Refer to Exterior Courtesy Lamps Malfunction .
- Go to next step: If the exterior courtesy lamps turn ON and OFF
Verify the center console compartment lamp, both sunshade lamps and ALL reading lamps operate ON/OFF when activated.
- If the center console compartment lamp, both sunshade lamps and ALL reading lamps do not activate
  Refer to Courtesy Lamps Malfunction .
- Go to next step: If the center console compartment lamp, both sunshade lamps, and ALL reading lamps activate
Verify the scan tool Door Ajar Switch parameter changes between Active and Inactive while opening and closing each vehicle door.
- If the parameter does not change
  Refer to Door Ajar Indicator Malfunction .
- Go to next step: If the parameter changes
Verify the scan tool Interior/Courtesy Lighting Master Switch parameter changes between Door, On and Cancel while placing the dome lamp switch in the Door, On and Cancel positions.
- If the parameter does not change
  Refer to Dome Lamp Switch Malfunction .
- Go to next step: If the parameter changes
Verify the dome lamps and door sill plate lamps if equipped, turn ON and OFF while commanding the Courtesy Lamps ON and OFF with a scan tool.
- If the dome lamps do not turn ON and OFF
  Refer to Dome/Courtesy Lamps Malfunction .
- Go to next step: If the dome lamps turn ON and OFF
All OK.
