Front Side Door Check Link Replacement (Chevrolet, GMC)

Callout Component Name

Preliminary Procedure

  1. Open the door to the full open position.
  2. Place the window in the full up position.
  3. Remove the front side door speaker. Refer to Radio Front Side Door Speaker Replacement .
1 Front Side Door Check Link Bolt
CAUTION:

Refer to Fastener Caution .


Tighten 
22 N.m (16 lb ft)
2 Front Side Door Check Link Nut (Qty: 2)
Tighten 
10 N.m (89 lb in)
3 Front Side Door Check Link
NOTE:

Inspect the door for proper operation before installing the door trim.
