Liftgate Adjustment

Procedure

1. Loosen the liftgate hinge bolt (Qty: 4) to adjust the liftgate.
2. Adjust the liftgate in order to obtain an even gap between the liftgate and the tail lamp, the rear fascia and the liftgate to D-pillar applique/tail lamp and rear fascia step so that the liftgate flush with the, the tail lamp, the rear fascia and the D-pillar applique/tail lamp and rear fascia step.

Adjustment

• Liftgate to D-pillar applique/tail lamp

  (a) 4.0 mm ± 1.0 mm (0.16 in ± 0.04 in)

• Liftgate to upper tail lamp

  (b) 4.2 mm ± 1.5 mm (0.17 in ± 0.06 in)

• Liftgate to upper tail lamp

  (c) 3.6 mm ± 1.5 mm (0.14 in ± 0.06 in)

• Liftgate to rear fascia

  (d) 4 mm ± 1.5 mm (0.16 in ± 0.06 in)

• Liftgate to rear fascia step

  (e) 7 mm ± 2 mm (0.28 in ± 0.08 in)
