Stabilizer Shaft Link Replacement (Heavy Duty)

Callout Component Name
Preliminary Procedure 
Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle
1 Front Stabilizer Shaft Link Nut
CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution .

Procedure 
Remove all traces of the original adhesive patch.
Tighten 
23 N.m (17 lb ft)
2 Front Stabilizer Shaft Link Insulator [4x]
3 Front Stabilizer Shaft Link Washer [2x]
4 Front Stabilizer Shaft Link
5 Front Stabilizer Shaft Link Washer
6 Front Stabilizer Shaft Link Bolt

Procedure

  1. Remove all traces of the original adhesive patch.
  2. Apply thread locking adhesive to the bolt. Refer to Adhesives, Fluids, Lubricants and Sealers
