Installation Procedure
WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2018 Chevrolet Suburban 3500 HD. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
- Install the air cleaner outlet duct to the throttle body and MAF/IAT sensor. Ensure that the resonator tab aligns with the stud on the intake manifold.
- Push down on the air cleaner outlet duct resonator directly over the resonator tab in order to secure the resonator to the stud on the intake manifold.
- Tighten the air cleaner outlet duct clamp (2) at the throttle body to 4 N.m (35 lb in).
- Tighten the air cleaner outlet duct clamp (1) to 4 N.m (35 lb in) at the MAF/IAT sensor.
- Install the radiator inlet hose clamp retainer to the outlet duct.
- Install the PCV line (1) to the air cleaner outlet duct.
- Install the intake manifold sight shield. Refer to Upper Intake Manifold Sight Shield Replacement .

NOTE:
Ensure the outlet duct is fully seated to the mating surfaces before clamping. Verify that the cuff is not rolled under.
NOTE:
Ensure that all duct(s) have been routed, installed and secured properly.
