Static Test

  1. Ignition/Vehicle - Off
  2. Disconnect the electrical connector: X159 Inline Harness Connector
  3. Test for 6 to 12 Ω between the test points: Control terminal D & Low Reference terminal E
    • If not between 6 and 12 Ω 

      Replace the component: Q6 Camshaft Position Actuator Solenoid Valve

    • Go to next step: If between 6 and 12 Ω 
  4. Test for infinite resistance between the test points: Each terminal of the component & The component's housing
    • If less than infinite resistance 

      Replace the component: Q6 Camshaft Position Actuator Solenoid Valve

    • Go to next step: If infinite resistance 
  5. All OK.
