Removal Procedure

- Remove the control valve body from the transmission. Refer to Control Valve Body Replacement .
- Disconnect the electrical connector (1).
- Remove the input and output speed sensor wiring harness bolts and Discard (1).
- Disconnect the input and output speed sensor wiring harness retainers (4).
- Remove the automatic transmission input and output speed sensor wiring harness (3) from the transmission.
CAUTION:
This vehicle is equipped with torque-to-yield or single use fasteners. Install a NEW torque-to-yield or single use fastener when installing this component. Failure to replace the torque-to-yield or single use fastener could cause damage to the vehicle or component.
