Installation Procedure
WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2018 Chevrolet Suburban 3500 HD. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
- Position the automatic transmission input and output speed sensor wiring harness (3) to the transmission.
- Connect the input and output speed sensor wiring harness retainers (4).
- Install the NEW input and output speed sensor wiring harness bolts (1) and tighten the bolts to 4 N.m (35 lb in) plus 45 degrees.
- Connect the electrical connector (1).
- Install the control valve body to the transmission. Refer to Control Valve Body Replacement .
- Reprogram the transmission. Refer to Solenoid Valve Characterization Reprogramming
CAUTION:
This vehicle is equipped with torque-to-yield or single use fasteners. Install a NEW torque-to-yield or single use fastener when installing this component. Failure to replace the torque-to-yield or single use fastener could cause damage to the vehicle or component.
