Control Valve Body Assembly Installation

1	Clutch Housing Fluid Passage Seal Procedure Use a NEW seal.
2	Automatic Transmission Output Speed Sensor Wiring Harness
3	Automatic Transmission Case Front Cover Bolt M6 x 25 (Qty: 3) CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution . CAUTION: This vehicle is equipped with torque-to-yield or single use fasteners. Install a NEW torque-to-yield or single use fastener when installing this component. Failure to replace the torque-to-yield or single use fastener could cause damage to the vehicle or component. Procedure Install NEW bolts. Tighten First Pass: 4 N.m (35 lb in). Final Pass: 45 Degrees. Special Tools DT-48285 Valve Body Torx Plus Socket Equivalent regional tools: Special Tools
4	Control Valve Body Assembly CAUTION: Use care when handling the control valve body assembly. If dropped, damage to the control solenoid valve body assembly internal components may result. Procedure Connect the automatic transmission wiring harness connector to the valve body. Connect the manual valve link to the manual valve.
5	Control Valve Solenoid Body Bolt M6 x 45 (Qty: 4) Tighten in sequence 9 N.m (80 lb in)
6	Control Valve Solenoid Body Bolt M6 x 68 (Qty: 7) Tighten in sequence 9 N.m (80 lb in)
7	Manual Shift Detent Lever Spring
8	Manual Shift Detent Lever Spring Bolt M6 x 25 Tighten 12 N.m (106 lb in)
9	Manual Valve Procedure Connect the manual valve to the manual valve link.
10	Automatic Transmission Wiring Harness Procedure Connect the wiring harness connector to the A/Trans control wiring harness.
11	Automatic Transmission Control Wiring Harness Procedure Connect the wiring harness connector to the manual shift shaft position switch.
