Noise And Vibration Analysis

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2018 Chevrolet Suburban 3500 HD. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
NOTE:

The following is only a general noise and vibration analysis. For more detailed and vehicle specific noise and vibration analysis, refer to the latest published Preliminary Information documents and Field Service Bulletins available in eSI.

A noise or vibration that is noticeable when the vehicle is in motion MAY NOT be the result of the transmission.

If noise or vibration is noticeable in PARK and NEUTRAL with the engine at idle, but is less noticeable as RPM increases, the cause may be from poor engine performance.
