- Ignition/Vehicle - Off
- Remove the component: Automatic Transmission Fluid Pan
- Disconnect the electrical connector: X176 @ T12 Automatic Transmission Assembly
- Test for 65 to 47, 000 ohms between the test points: Signal terminal 2 & Low Reference terminal 1
- If not between 65 to 47, 000 ohms
Replace the component: B13 Transmission Fluid Temperature Sensor
- Go to next step: If between 65 to 47, 000 ohms
- If not between 65 to 47, 000 ohms
- Verify the value is within the range listed in the table: Temperature Versus Resistance
- If not in the specified range
Replace the component: B13 Transmission Fluid Temperature Sensor
- Go to next step: If in the specified range
- If not in the specified range
- Test for infinite resistance between the test points: Each terminal of the component & The component's housing
- If less than infinite resistance
Replace the component: B13 Transmission Fluid Temperature Sensor
- Go to next step: If infinite resistance
- If less than infinite resistance
- All OK.
