Circuit/System Verification

- Ignition - On/Vehicle - In Service Mode
- Verify DTC P0602 is not set.
- If the DTC is set
- Perform all necessary programming and setup procedures for the control module: K71 Transmission Control Module
- Verify the DTC does not set.
- If the DTC sets - Replace the component: K71 Transmission Control Module
- If the DTC does not set
- All OK.
- Go to next step: If the DTC is not set
- Ignition/Vehicle & All vehicle systems - Off
- Disconnect the electrical connector: K71 Transmission Control Module
Verify the following conditions do not exist:
- Defective
- Loose
- Poor Connection
- Visible Damage
- If a condition exists
Repair or replace as necessary.
- Go to next step: If no condition exists
- Connect the electrical connector: K71 Transmission Control Module
- Ignition - On/Vehicle - In Service Mode
- Clear the DTCs.
- Ignition/Vehicle & All vehicle systems - Off
- Ignition - On/Vehicle - In Service Mode
- Verify DTC P0601, P0603, P0604, P0606, P062F, P16F3, P16F4, P16FB is not set.
- If the DTC is set
Replace the component: K71 Transmission Control Module
- Go to next step: If the DTC is not set
- If the DTC is set
- All OK.
