Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the intake manifold. Refer to Intake Manifold Replacement .

  3. Disconnect the engine harness electrical connector (1) from the oil pressure sensor.

  5. If not equipped with active fuel management perform the following step, using J 41712  oil pressure switch socket or equivalent, remove the oil pressure sensor (1) and washer (2).

  7. If equipped with active fuel management perform the following step, using J 41712  oil pressure switch socket or equivalent, remove the oil pressure sensor (1) and washer (2).
    1. Remove and discard oil pressure sensor filter (3).
    2. Inspect seal (4) for damage. Replace if necessary.
