Installation Procedure

  1. Install EN-51767-1  Universal Stretchy Belt Installer (1) onto the balancer.

  2. Position the belt (1) on the A/C pulley and the balancer as shown.
  3. Slide the belt installation tool downward, positioning the belt onto the A/C pulley, applying light tension to the belt.
  4. Slowly rotate the crankshaft and compressor pulleys in a counterclockwise direction until the belt (1) fully seats on both pulleys.
  5. Inspect the belt for proper installation and alignment.
  6. Rotate the balancer an additional 360 degrees to ensure proper belt installation.
  7. Install Steering Gear Skid Shield. Refer to Steering Gear Skid Shield Replacement
  8. Install Drive Belt. Refer to Drive Belt Replacement - Accessory
