Oil Pump Assemble

- Install the driven gear (412) into the pump housing (413).
Install the driven gear with the orientation mark facing the pump cover.
- Install the drive gear (410) into the pump housing.
- Install the oil pump cover (409).
- Install the oil pump cover bolts (408) and tighten to 12 N.m (106 lb in).
- Install the relief valve (414).
- Install the relief valve spring (415).
- Install the relief valve plug (416) and tighten to 14 N.m (124 lb in).
- Inspect the oil pump for smooth operation by rotating the drive gear.
NOTE:
Prior to assembling the oil pump, coat all wear or internal surfaces with clean engine oil.
