Preliminary Procedure Remove the transfer case. Refer to Transfer Case Assembly Replacement . Remove the transmission mount. Refer to Transmission Mount Replacement (Two Wheel Drive)Transmission Mount Replacement (Four Wheel Drive) for the 6L45/6L50/6L80/6L90 transmission.
1	Transfer Case
2	Gasket
3	Transfer Case Adapter Bolt (Qty: 6) CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution . Tighten 50 N.m (37 lb ft)
4	Extension Housing
5	Seal NOTE: Seal is only used for the 4L60-E transmission and should be replaced when the adapter is removed. Do Not use any type of sealant or adhesive in place of or with the seal.
