Conditions for Running the DTC

Ignition ON.
System voltage 10.5 - 8 V.
No DTC P0562 or P0563.

C0397 54

No C0379 01, C0379 04 or C0379 08 for thermal model.
Vehicle speed greater than 5 km/h (3 MPH) and all wheel speeds at same speed.
DTC C0397 54 runs continuously.

C0397 58

Transfer case control module is NOT in shutdown mode due to thermal protection.
DTC C0397 58 runs continuously.

C0397 4B

Transfer case range: must begin in 4WD High/Locked and then be requested to shift to 4WD/AWD Automatic or 2WD.
Only run during power down kiss point learn request.

C0397 F3

Only run during power down kiss point learn request.

C0397 F4

Only run during power down kiss point learn request.
