Conditions for Setting the DTC

C0321 01

When the low side driver is ON, the transfer case control module measures greater than 8.5 volts on the Transfer Case Lock Solenoid Control circuit.

When the low side driver is OFF, the transfer case control module measures less than 2.0 volts on the Transfer Case Lock Solenoid Control circuit.

When the low side driver is OFF, the transfer case control module measures between 2.5 - 5.5 volts on the Transfer Case Lock Solenoid Control circuit.

Transfer case range actuator position correction after a brake slipping event was unsuccessful 10 times. A slipping event is defined as a torque error between the torque requested and the actual torque calculated from motor position being greater than a predetermined amount.
