Conditions for Setting the DTC

P1516 

The ECM detects the difference between the desired throttle position and the actual throttle position is greater than 2% for greater than 0.49 ms.

P2101

• The ECM detects a difference of greater than 8% between the actual throttle position and the calculated throttle position for greater than 187 ms.

  OR

• The ECM detects the throttle position is greater than 36% during a throttle learn event.

  OR

• The ECM detects the throttle position is greater than 35% when the ECM is commanding reduced engine power.

P2119 

The ECM determines that the throttle blade did not return to the rest position within 1 s.

P2176 

The ECM detects that both throttle position (TP) sensors were greater than a predetermined voltage during the minimum throttle learn procedure for greater than 2 s.
