Installation Procedure

    Fig 1: Fuel Tank Vent Line Quick Connect Fitting, Hose Clamp, Bracket Bolts & Fill Hose

  1. Install the fuel fill hose (1) to the fuel tank. Ensure that the notch in the hose is aligned with the notch on the fuel tank.
    2. CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  2. Tighten the fuel fill hose clamp (6). 4 N.m (35 lb in).
  3. Install the fuel fill pipe bracket bolts (2, 4). Tighten to 12 N.m (106 lb in).
  4. Connect the fuel fill hose vent line quick connect fitting (3) to the EVAP canister vent solenoid valve. Refer to Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service .
  5. Connect the fuel fill pipe vent line to the fuel tank quick connect fitting (5). Refer to Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service .
  6. Install Automatic Level Control Air Compressor Inlet Tube Automatic Level Control Air Compressor Inlet Tube Replacement

  7. Install the rear axle vent hose clip (1) to the fill pipe.
  8. Lower the vehicle.

  9. Install Fuel Tank Filler Pipe Bracket Bolt (2) @Fuel Tank Filler Pipe (1). Tighten to 10 N.m (89 lb in).
  10. Install the spare tire, if necessary.
  11. Install the fuel fill cap, if necessary.
  12. Install Fuel Tank Filler Pipe Housing - Fuel Tank Filler Pipe Housing Replacement
