Installation Procedure

NOTE:
The new replacement wiring harness may not have electrical connector (2). It will be a one piece harness.

Install automatic transmission control wiring harness (4).
If necessary, install the control valve body to the transmission. Control Valve Body Replacement (M5N)
Connect the wiring harness clip (5) to the valve body.
Connect the transmission control wiring harness connectors (1).
If equipped, connect the transmission control wiring harness connector (2), and ensure the valve body connector retainer is latched (3).

Install the transmission fluid filter (4) and all other related components. Refer to Automatic Transmission Fluid, Fluid Pan and/or Filter Replacement (Rear Wheel Drive) Automatic Transmission Fluid, Fluid Pan and/or Filter Replacement (All Wheel Drive) .
