Removal Procedure
WARNING:
Refer to Diesel/Gasoline Vapors Warning .
WARNING:

- Remove the intake manifold cover. Refer to Intake Manifold Cover Replacement .
Remove the evaporative emission pipe (1) from the evaporative emission canister purge solenoid valve and retainers. Refer to Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service .
- Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle (CTS) .
- Remove the underbody front air deflector right side. Refer to Underbody Front Air Deflector Replacement - Right Side .
- Remove the front body exhaust heat shield right side. Refer to Front Body Exhaust Heat Shield Replacement (Right)Front Body Exhaust Heat Shield Replacement (Left) .
Disconnect the evaporative emission pipe (1) and remove from retainers (2). Refer to Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service .
- Remove the evaporative emission pipe (1) from the vehicle.
