Preliminary Procedure Remove the front side door trim panel insert. Refer to Front Side Door Trim Panel Insert Replacement .
1	Front Side Door Inside Handle Bolt Cap NOTE: Use a suitable tool, place the tool between the notch located at the top of the door handle cap and the door handle. Turn the suitable tool clockwise releasing the door handle cap, exposing the handle fastener.
2	Front Side Door Inside Handle Fastener CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution . Tighten 2.5 N.m (22 lb in)
3	Front Side Door Armrest Pull Cup Fastener (Qty: 2) Tighten 2.5 N.m (22 lb in)
4	Front Side Door Trim Assembly Procedure Use the appropriate plastic trim tool to aid in the removal of the door trim. Replace the door trim retainers as needed. Partially pull the door trim panel away from the door. Lift the door trim upward to clear the lock rod through the door trim bezel before pulling the door trim panel away from the door. Remove the inside handle cable from the inside handle by pressing down on the plastic retainer to disengage the cable sheath. Pull the plastic retainer rearward and rotate and lift the cable away from the inside handle. Disconnect the electrical connector. Remove the trim panel from the door.
