Preliminary Procedure Drain the cooling system. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling (Static Fill) Cooling System Draining and Filling (GE 47716) Remove the battery tray. Refer to Battery Tray Replacement
1	Radiator Surge Tank Hose Clamps (Qty: 2) Procedure Reposition the radiator surge tank hose clamps using BO-38185 Hose Clamp Pliers. Special Tools BO-38185 Hose Clamp Pliers
2	Radiator Surge Tank Inlet Hose
3	Radiator Surge Tank Outlet Hose
4	Radiator Surge Tank Bracket Clip Procedure Lift the surge tank clip from the radiator surge tank and bracket.
5	Radiator Surge Tank Procedure Slide the radiator surge tank forward and lift out of the radiator surge tank bracket. After installation, fill the coolant reservoir to the proper level. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling (Static Fill) Cooling System Draining and Filling (GE 47716) Inspect cooling system for leaks.
