Preliminary Procedure It is only necessary to lower the headlining. Only do those steps in the headlining procedure that will allow access to the component being removed. Refer to Headlining Trim Panel Replacement (With C3U)
1	Sunroof Sunshade Motor Bolt (Qty: 3) CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution . Tighten 4 N.m (35 lb in)
2	Sunroof Sunshade Motor Procedure Disconnect the electrical connector. With a turning motion, pull downward on the sunroof sunshade motor. Disengage the motor from the drive cables. Install the sunroof sunshade motor to the frame with a turning motion, pushing upward. This will engage the motor into the drive cables. Perform Sunroof Motor/Actuator Initialization/Teach Process. Refer to Sunroof Motor/Actuator Initialization/Teach Process Verify the sunroof sunshade motor operation.

4 N.m (35 lb in)

Sunroof Sunshade Motor

Procedure

Disconnect the electrical connector.
With a turning motion, pull downward on the sunroof sunshade motor. Disengage the motor from the drive cables.
Install the sunroof sunshade motor to the frame with a turning motion, pushing upward. This will engage the motor into the drive cables.
Perform Sunroof Motor/Actuator Initialization/Teach Process. Refer to Sunroof Motor/Actuator Initialization/Teach Process
Verify the sunroof sunshade motor operation.
