Circuit/System Verification

- Engine idling in Park with parking brake applied, and drive wheels chocked.
- Verify the scan tool Transmission Fluid Pressure Switch 4 parameter displays the correct values for each gear range while placing the gear select lever in Park, Reverse, and Neutral position. Refer to Transmission Fluid Pressure Switch Logic
for the correct gear range states.
- If the correct states are not displayed
Refer to Circuit/System Testing.

- Place the gear select lever in Drive range.
- Verify the scan tool Transmission Fluid Pressure Switch 4 parameter displays the correct states when allowing the transmission to shift from 1 through 6 gears. Refer to Transmission Fluid Pressure Switch Logic
for the correct gear range states.

- Operate the vehicle within the Conditions for Running the DTC. You may also operate the vehicle within the conditions that you observe from the Freeze Frame/Failure Records data.
