Installation Procedure

  1. Install Engine Mount (1)

    CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  2. Install Engine Mount Bolt (1)
  3. Install Engine Mount Bolt - Tighten 50 N.m (37 lb ft)
  4. Using the adjustable jack, lower the engine until the engine mount is sitting flush on the frame.
  5. Remove the adjustable jack and block of wood from the engine oil pan.
  6. Install Underbody Skid Shield Underbody Skid Shield Replacement
  7. Install Exhaust Manifold Heat Shield-Right Side Exhaust Manifold Heat Shield Replacement - Right Side (L96)
  8. Install Starter Starter Replacement (L96)
  9. Partially lower the vehicle.

  10. Install Engine Mount Bolt (1)
  11. Engine Mount Bolt (1) - Tighten 65 N.m (48 lb ft)
  12. Install Front Wheelhouse Liner-Right Side Front Wheelhouse Liner Replacement - Right Side (Chevrolet)
  13. Lower the vehicle.
  14. Install Upper Intake Manifold Sight Shield Upper Intake Manifold Sight Shield Replacement
