Circuit/System Verification

- Ignition OFF for at least 1 minute to allow for the complete shutdown of the K69 transfer case control module. Engine ON.
- Verify that DTC P0601, DTC P0602, DTC P0604, DTC P0606, DTC P062F or DTC P064F is only set as a history DTC.
- If any of the DTC's are set as current
- Program the K69 transfer case control module. Refer to Control Module References .
- Verify none of the DTC's reset.
- If any of the DTC's reset, replace the K69 transfer case control module. Refer to Control Module References .
- If none of the DTC's reset
- All OK.
- If any of the DTC's are set as history
- Visually inspect each connector terminal of the K69 transfer case control module connector for damage or corrosion. Repair as necessary.
- Clear DTC P0601, DTC P0602, DTC P0604, DTC P0606, DTC P062F, or DTC P064F from history.
- Operate the vehicle within the Conditions for Running the DTC. You may also operate the vehicle within the conditions that you observed from the Freeze Frame/Failure Records data. The DTC should not set.
- If any of the DTC's set
Replace the K69 Transfer Case Control Module and perform the Range Actuator Learn procedure. Refer to Transfer Case Control Module Replacement , and Transfer Case High/Low Clutch Reset
- If none of the DTC's set
- If any of the DTC's set
- All OK.
NOTE:
After inspection, apply Nyogel lubricant 760G to each connector terminal. Ensure each connector and CPA is correctly seated.
