Conditions for Setting the DTC

P0030, P0036, P0050, or P0056

The engine control module detects an open in the heater circuit of the heated oxygen sensor when the heater is commanded OFF for greater than 13 s.

P0031, P0037, P0051, or P0057

The engine control module detects a short to ground in the heater circuit of the heated oxygen sensor when the heater is commanded OFF for greater than 13 s.

P0032, P0038, P0052, or P0058

The engine control module detects a short to voltage in the heater circuit of the heated oxygen sensor when the heater is commanded ON for greater than 13 s.

P0053, P0054, P0059, or P0060

The ECM detects the heated oxygen sensor heater is not within a specified resistance range at engine start-up for greater than 1 second.

P0135 or P0155

The ECM detects that the HO2S 1 heater current is greater than 4.3 amps, or less than 0.4 amps for greater than 10 seconds.

P0141 or P0161

The ECM detects that the HO2S 2 heater current is greater than 4.3 amps, or less than 0.4 amps for greater than 10 seconds.
