Preliminary Procedure
- Remove the front compartment front sight shield. Refer to Front Compartment Front Sight Shield Replacement (GMC)
- Remove the front wheelhouse liners. Refer to Front Wheelhouse Liner Replacement - Left Side (GMC)
, and Front Wheelhouse Liner Replacement - Right Side (GMC)

Tighten
7 N.m (62 lb in) |

Front Bumper Fascia Center Support Bolt (Qty: 6)
Tighten
7 N.m (62 lb in) |

Front Bumper Fascia Guide Bolts (Qty: 2)
Tighten
2.5 N.m (22 lb in) |

Front Bumper Fascia Procedure
- Carefully push a small nylon wedge between the fascia and the front fascia guide. Insert a small flat-bladed tool into the fascia slot and depress the snaps one at a time and pull on the fascia at the same time to gradually remove the fascia from the front fascia guide.
- Release the front center grille support tabs with an appropriate tool from beneath the vehicle with assistance.
- Disconnect the electrical connectors before attempting removal of the front bumper fascia.
- Remove the fascia from the vehicle with assistance.
