Ignition and Start Switch Replacement (Without BTM)

Preliminary Procedure 
Remove Theft Deterrent Module. Refer to Theft Deterrent Module Replacement (Without BTM)
1 Ignition and Start Switch

Procedure

  1. Disconnect the electrical connector.
  2. Remove the Passlock and key buzzer from the ignition lock cylinder case.
  3. Use the EL-42759  release tool to release the plastic retaining tabs on the ignition and start switch.
  4. Pull the ignition and start switch out of the ignition lock cylinder case.
