Preliminary Procedures

  1. Remove the Left and right windshield garnish molding. Refer to Windshield Garnish Molding Replacement (Left Side)Windshield Garnish Molding Replacement (Right Side) .
  2. Remove the instrument panel instrument cluster hood. Refer to Instrument Panel Instrument Cluster Hood Replacement (Chevrolet/GMC) .
1 Windshield Defroster Nozzle Grille

Procedure

  1. Use a flat-bladed plastic trim tool to release the 10 retainers securing the windshield defroster nozzle grille to the instrument panel carrier.
  2. Disconnect the electrical connection.
  3. When replacing the windshield defroster nozzle grille, transfer all necessary components.
