Preliminary Procedure Remove the intake manifold cover. Refer to Intake Manifold Cover Replacement (LF3)Intake Manifold Cover Replacement (LGX) . Disconnect vacuum line from charge air bypass valve. Refer to Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service .
1	Charge Air Bypass Valve Quick Disconnect Procedure Disconnect the quick connect fitting by squeezing both ends.
2	Charge Air Bypass Valve Clamp CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution .
