Action Taken When the DTC Sets

P2812 or P2815
- P2812 or P2815 is a Type A DTC.
- TCM disables transmission adapts learning and freezes current adapt values.
- TCM inhibits TCC.
- TCM inhibits maximum gear when in hot mode.
- TCM inhibits maximum gear when not in hot mode.
P2814
- P2814 is a Type A DTC.
- TCM turns Off power to all shift and pressure control solenoids.
- TCM inhibits TCC.
- 2nd gear is obtained if fault was detected with the default valve in the low state.
- 8th gear is obtained if fault was detected with the default valve in the high state.
- TCM commands maximum line pressure for all shifts.
- TCM disables transmission adapts learning and freezes current adapt values.
- TCM commands default shift pattern and ignores all other shift requests.
- TCM commands hot mode transmission shifting pattern.
- TCM inhibits Tap Up/Tap Down.
- TCM request the ECM to disable powertrain braking.
