Circuit/System Testing

  1. Verify the conditions listed below do not exist. Carefully inspect each component for that condition. Repair or replace as necessary.

P2723 or P2724 - Control Valve Solenoid Body 

Transmission Control Solenoid Valve 5 stuck/sticking-debris, binding, damage valve.

P2723 or P2724 - Control Valve Solenoid Body 

4-5-6-7-8-Reverse Clutch regulator valve stuck/sticking - debris, binding, damage valve, scored bore.

P2723 or P2724 - 4-5-6-7-8-Reverse Clutch Assembly 

4-5-6-7-8-Reverse Clutch piston housing retaining ring not seated or clutch piston seals missing or damaged.

P2723 or P2724 - 4-5-6-7-8-Reverse Clutch 

Fluid circuit - plugged with debris or leaks due to missing or damage O-rings, seals or gaskets.
