Removal Procedure

    WARNING:

    Refer to Gasoline/Gasoline Vapors Warning .

    WARNING:

    Refer to Safety Glasses Warning .

  1. Raise and support the vehicle. Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle (CTS)Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle (CTS-V)
    2. Fig 1: Evaporative Emission Canister Purge Pipe

  2. Disconnect the evaporative emission canister purge pipe (1) from the fuel tank vent valve hose. Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service 
  3. Remove the right rear wheelhouse panel liner. Rear Wheelhouse Liner Replacement

  4. Remove the tie straps (1) attaching the evaporative emission canister purge pipe to the fuel tank filler pipe.
  5. Remove the evaporative emission canister purge pipe (3) from the retainers (2).
  6. Remove the evaporative emission canister purge pipe (3) from the EVAP emission canister. Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service
