Preliminary Procedures Open the front side door to the full open position. Place the front side door window in the full closed position. Remove the front side door trim. Refer to Front Side Door Trim Replacement . Remove the front side door water deflector.
1	Front Side Door Check Link Grommet
2	Front Side Door Check Link Bolt CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution . Procedure Slide front side door check link cover away from frame. Tighten 32 N.m (24 lb ft)
3	Front Side Door Check Link Nut (Qty: 2) Tighten 11.5 N.m (9 lb ft)
4	Front Side Door Check Link Procedure Remove the front side door check link cover. Refer to Front Side Door Check Link Cover Replacement . NOTE: Inspect the door for proper operation before installing the door trim.
