Air Inlet Grille Panel Replacement

Preliminary Procedures

  1. Remove the windshield wiper arms. Refer to Windshield Wiper Arm Replacement .
  2. Release the inboard ends of the air inlet grille panel extension. Refer to Air Inlet Grille Panel Extension Replacement (Left Hand) Air Inlet Grille Panel Extension Replacement (Right Hand) .
  3. Remove both front compartment side sight shields. Refer to Front Compartment Side Sight Shield Replacement .

Procedure

  1. Using a trim type release tool, disengage the center air inlet grille panel retainer.
  2. Use a suitable plastic tool to release the air inlet grille panel from the windshield lower molding.
  3. Disconnect the windshield washer hose.
  4. Transfer parts as needed.
