Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the transmission fluid filter (4). Refer to Automatic Transmission Fluid, Fluid Pan and/or Filter Replacement (Rear Wheel Drive)  and Automatic Transmission Fluid, Fluid Pan and/or Filter Replacement (All Wheel Drive) .

  2. Release the transmission control wiring harness connectors.

  3. Carefully disconnect the wiring harness clips from the valve body and case.
  4. Remove the transmission control wiring harness (4).
