Circuit/System Verification

    NOTE:

    This DTC may be set due to the connection of an incompatible or faulty USB device. Verify proper USB harness connections are secure and that customer is using a known good SD card prior to proceeding with the verification.

  1. Ignition ON.
  2. Verify DTC B124E 4A is not set.
    • If the DTC is set 

      Clear DTC and attempt to reprogram the X20 Performance Data Recorder with the latest software via Service Programming System (SPS).

    1. Verify programming event was successful and DTC B124E 4A does not reset
      • If the programming was not successful or DTC is set 

        Replace the X20 Performance Data Recorder.

      • If the programming was successful and DTC did not set 
  3. All OK.
