Preliminary Procedures

  1. Remove the intake manifold cover. Refer to Intake Manifold Cover Replacement (LF3) .
  2. Disconnect the charge air bypass valve vacuum tank tube bundle left cylinder bank. Refer to Charge Air Bypass Valve Vacuum Tank Tube Replacement (Bundle Rear Section LF3) Charge Air Bypass Valve Vacuum Tank Tube Replacement (Bundle Front Section LF3) Charge Air Bypass Valve Vacuum Tank Tube Replacement (Left Cylinder Bank LF3) .
1 Charge Air Bypass Valve
Procedure 
Disconnect the quick connect fittings by squeezing both ends.
