Preliminary Procedure Open and support the hood assembly.
1	Windshield Wiper Arm Nut Cap NOTE: Use a small flat-bladed tool in order to release the finish cap from the wiper arm assembly.
2	Windshield Wiper Arm Nut CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution . Tighten 38 N.m (28 lb ft)
3	Windshield Wiper Arm Procedure Use the BO-49385 puller in order to assist in the removal of the windshield wiper arm from the windshield wiper transmission pivot shaft. Remove the windshield wiper arm from the pivot shaft. Clean the pivot shaft knurls with a soft wire brush before installing a new windshield wiper arm.
