Diagnostic Aids

The switch circuits pass through the steering wheel air bag coil. A worn steering wheel air bag coil may cause intermittent conditions. To detect a condition, turn the steering wheel 360 degrees in one direction then back 360 degrees in the other direction, multiple times during testing.
