Fuel Feed Pipe Replacement (LFX At Engine)

Preliminary Procedures

1. Relieve the fuel system pressure. Refer to Fuel Pressure Relief .
2. Remove the intake manifold cover. Refer to Intake Manifold Cover Replacement (LFX) .
3. Remove the fuel pipe shield. Refer to Fuel Pipe Shield Replacement (LFX) .
4. Disconnect the fuel feed line quick connect. Refer to Metal Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service .

Procedure

1. Unclip the electrical harness from the feed pipe bracket.
2. DISCARD the pipe when removed, and install a NEW pipe.
3. Ensure that the high pressure fuel pipe, and fuel pump fittings are clean and dry prior to assembly.
4. Pressure up the fuel system and check for leaks.
