Installation Procedure

  1. Connect the retainers and tie straps to the charge air bypass valve vacuum tank tube bundle left cylinder bank (3) and install to vehicle.
  2. Connect the charge air bypass valve vacuum tank tube bundle left cylinder bank quick connect fitting (2) to the turbocharger wastegate actuator vacuum tank. Refer to Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service .
  3. Connect the charge air bypass valve vacuum tank tube bundle left cylinder bank clamps (1) to the turbocharger wastegate actuator vacuum tank.

  4. Connect the charge air bypass valve vacuum tank tube bundle left cylinder bank (1) to the engine. Refer to Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service .
  5. Connect the retainers and tie straps to the charge air bypass valve vacuum tank tube bundle left cylinder bank (2).
  6. Install the intake manifold cover. Refer to Intake Manifold Cover Replacement (LF3) .
  7. Install the front compartment front sight shield. Refer to Front Compartment Front Sight Shield Replacement .
